Judy Phelan – Parkinson’s Walk Appeal

Judy Phelan is walking 27 times in 27 days this October to support people with Parkinson’s to lead full and active lives. With your support, Parkinson’s Victoria can continue to provide information, education and peer support services when it’s needed most to people with Parkinson’s, family members, carers and health care professionals.

Please support her walk by donating to my fundraising page. Any help is greatly appreciated. The link to the sponsor page is https://www.parkinsonswalk.org.au/my-fundraising/2934/judy-phelan

Since coming together the Rotary Club of Oakleigh Clayton Huntingdale has donated $2000 to Judy’s fundraising effort

End Polio Now -

The Rotary Walk With Us campaign is an End Polio Now walking event throughout October and an opportunity to participate in a fun way to help raise awareness and funds for this important project.

You can register to walk and set your total distance and fundraising amounts, or you can donate to someone who is walking. For the walkers the total distance is accumulated over the month of October so they can walk when, where and with whom you want in a COVID safe way. Each walk is logged on the website along with all donations. It's easy.

Corporate sponsorship from Bendigo bank and other businesses has covered the administration costs so 100% of funds raised by walkers will go to Rotary’s End Polio Now programme. All donations through Rotary will be matched 2 to 1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

All Australian donations over $2.50 are tax deductable. Individuals, Rotary clubs and Districts will be recognised and credited for their donations.

Register to walk now and donate at www.rotarywalkwithus.org

This year, in 2020, the Rotary Club of Oakleigh Clayton Huntingdale has donated $2090 to the End Polio Now campaign
