The Rotary Club of Oakleigh Clayton Huntingdale Inc formed in 2019 when the Rotary clubs of Oakleigh, Clayton and Huntingdale merged to create a new and stronger Club within the cities of Monash and Kingston.
With over 160 combined years of service and experience, the Club, Rotary OCH, is definitely well placed to continue the good work of Rotary and to make your community a better place to live.
Rotary OCH brings together a team of men and women who meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm at the Clayton Hotel.
As a part of Rotary OCH, members and guests enjoy friendship, community service, networking, social activity and personal development through participation in local and international projects.
And always doing it with fun.
The main fund-raiser of Rotary OCH is the Oakleigh Rotary Sunday Market which started more than 30 years ago, and has evolved into a thriving and well-loved local event that brings the community together every Sunday morning.
Through its fund-raising efforts Rotary OCH supports local and international communities such as
- Youth leadership programs and scholarships within the surrounding schools, universities and clubs
- Local Community Support Organizations with financial and in-kind support
- Rural communities who receive support in times of crisis
- International communities in underprivileged and remote areas who receive disaster relief and are supported in water and sanitation projects, health, education and literacy
