2021 Christmas Meeting at the Clayton Hotel

On Monday 13th December 2021 we held a Christmas Meeting for all our members and partners where we enjoyed a Christmas theme meal and plenty of great fellowship

Our Guest speaker was the Reverend Dr Luke Hopkins, Vicar at St Martin’s Anglican Church, Hawksburn.

Fr Luke grew up in the Hunter Valley, NSW and was ordained in the Diocese of Newcastle in 2011. He completed his doctorate on the Early Church and Anglican Studies at Trinity College Theological School here in Melbourne.

Prior to his move to St Martin’s, he was the assistant priest at St Mary’s North Melbourne and an associate chaplain at Trinity College, Melbourne. In the past he has served as the junior chaplain of Merton College in Oxford, UK, and was the assistant curate of the parish of Taree, NSW. Fr Luke began ordained ministry assisting one of the archdeacons of Newcastle in a church plant in the city.

He is married to Alice and has a great love of helping others to grow in Christ. He is available to talk anytime, so if interested, please get in contact with Fr Luke.
