General Meeting at the Clayton Hotel -&nbsp\;Community Discussion. Speakers from Dixon House\, Waverley CIS &amp\; Oakleigh CIS
The club has invited Kathy Hosie of Oakleigh CIS\, Chris Brassington of Waverley CIS and Milroy of Dixon House to discuss the support of people in our community who need assistance with living expenses.
&nbsp\;
Our Club supports all three groups with donations this year to support these community organisations in the costs of delivering community services to needy people. 
&nbsp\;
These community organisations are providing assistance to the homeless\, single parents\, disabled\, pensioners\, new immigrants\, families and many more citizens in our community who need help. 
&nbsp\;
Services provided are food\, gift cards to purchase food\, utility bill assistance\, education costs such as uniforms and books\, pharmacy costs of medicine. Advice and support for people who are in need of help is also provided.
&nbsp\;
Oakleigh and Waverley Cis organisations are funded by Cisvic the Victorian Government agency that funds 60 Community Organisations in Victoria. Donations are also provided by Churches\, Rotary and Probus Clubs and many other community organisations who provide assistance.
&nbsp\;
Dixon House is funded by Anglicare and also receive donations from many organisations and community organisations such as Rotary.
&nbsp\;
Oakleigh and Waverley Cis and Dixon House are staffed by volunteers who provide assistance to our community - We are&nbsp\; grateful for the assistance provided by all the volunteers who work in these community groups. Within our Monash area the community is well supported by these community groups including the OCH members who raise funds to provide assistance to people and community groups.

Hopefully members will learn more about Community assistance from these three groups and our club continues to support these groups in the future.
