Carols in the Park - 6th December
The Carols in the Park went well.
President David spoke on stage as the major sponsor, Sam Oddo assisted with supervision of the scouts but did not sing, David Whiting was the club photographer, Warren Fricke attended and offered to assist.
The kids on the stage and in the audience appeared to enjoy themselves. There was a ten-minute shower during the afternoon then the rain held off until after everyone had gone home.
Attendance was estimated in excess of two thousand.
