Rotary OCH 2023 Charity Golf Day Success
This is a report on our very successful Charity Golf Day at Huntingdale Golf Club on Monday 15th May, with 140 players participating in the event, in perfect golfing weather.
Winners of the event categories were; Handicap Event Men – Enzo Cirone (second year in a row), Handicap Ladies Competition – Diane Cook, Social Competition Men – Mark Thacker.
Thank you to all members and partners & Graham Williams, who assisted on the day & a special thanks to Doug’s staff Theo Kalkandis, Colin Bresnahan & Norm Patties for their significant contribution.
We acknowledge the contribution of the Huntingdale Golf Club, in making their wonderful facilities available to us for this event.
We also thank the sponsor support we have received from; GOLD SPONSOR Rubicon 8, SILVER SPONSOR Aubrey Paton & Associates and all other sponsor & supporting organizations as set out in the collage below.
We also acknowledge the technical support from, MSL SOLUTIONS LTD & the significant contribution by Auctioneer, Anthony Cimino from Inner Real Estate.
After all expenses, the Net income from the day, including Raffle & Auction was $20,754
We committed the auction to fighting the BEAST (Motor Neurone Disease) and are please to advise we will be donating $5,000 to the FightMND Foundation.
This leave a net profit to the Club of $15,754 which will be used to assist the community & youth activities we support.
