Timor-Leste Floods Emergency

The Rotary Club of OCH will support the Timor-Leste Floods Emergency by donating $3.000 US to help with the purchase of the following items:

  1. food - rice and pasta in bulk (they then break into smaller bags for communities)
  2. toilets Bags for families
  3. sleeping mats
  4. cooking oil
  5. Blankets and sheets
  6. hot plates and gas bottles for cooking.
  7. Powdered milk for elderly and infants
  8. Clothing and footwear
  9. First aid kits etc

Judy Phelan is the 2020 Sir Zelman Cowen Award recipient

Judy Phelan is the 2020 Sir Zelman Cowen Award recipient. This prestigious award is presented to an individual in recognition of their invaluable voluntary contribution to the Parkinson’s community. Judy is a Parkinson’s Victoria Life Member who, with the support of her family and friends, and Rotary, business and local contacts, has raised more than $100,000 directly or indirectly over the past 10 years. With husband Ian, she also helped raise community awareness of Parkinson’s. Thank you Judy for your ongoing commitment and contribution to the Parkinson’s community – a truly deserving role model and award recipient. COVID – 19 RESPONSE

The Rotary Club of OCH is closely monitoring the pandemic of COVID-19, and continuously assessing the potential impact on Club operations, events, and members.

The health and safety of our members, public contacts and program beneficiaries are always our top priorities.

We have indefinitely postponed some of our events over the next few months, and moved others to virtual meetings. Please check the event listing for more information

We’re still open for business – online and on the phone. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

AFFECTED EVENTS:

Oakleigh Rotary Sunday Market – Reopened on Sunday 22nd November

Monday Club meeting – NOW face to face at the Clayton Hotel and a virtual meeting by zoom, tune in from 7.00pm

Annual Charity Golf Day – Was held on Monday 17th May 2021 at Huntingdale GC with a great turnout

Youth and School programs that are Rotary sponsored - cancelled until further notice
